We are receiving a number of inquiries regarding account balances on Townsquare and the system’s failure to properly post payments and update accounts. The reason for this is that we are switching to a new operating account and accounting system and it is taking longer for payments to post while we transition. All accounts are going to be audited and your balances will be adjusted properly, with any erroneous late fees removed.
My account also received a late fee letter even though I paid for January, so I share your frustration and impatience with the transition to the new system. We are making this transition because, among other benefits, it is projected to save the Association $20,000 to $30,000 annually and was one of several cost saving measures that enabled us to rescind the proposed fee increase to $150 and maintain the $135 fee for 2020.
Coupon books are going out in the mail. In the meantime, you should continue to make payments as directed in the payment letter your received. Thank you for your patience during this process.
