The Board of Directors would like to apologize for the way residents were deluged with emails through TownSq over the past 48 hours including some being sent between 1-2 a.m. In the past, the forum has been reserved for announcements by the Property Manager and President on matters of general concern. Board members voted at last night’s meeting that going forward the property manager will only post announcements that have been approved by the majority of the Board. No one else will make community announcements. It is the opinion of the majority of the Board that directors need to exercise discretion and attempt to resolve problems internally rather than deluge the community. We intend to use this forum sparingly, and only for community-wide announcements.
At the Directors meeting on June 22, 2020, several residents came to the meeting making various charges of impropriety and then shouted down anyone else who tried to speak. By the time the Board was able to explain the situation, half the crowd, including 2 Board members making these accusations, had already left. We want to give the President an opportunity to respond to Mr. Abrebaya’s accusations on the Board’s behalf. Unfortunately, the unruly behavior at the meeting prevented so many members from getting these facts. Again, going forward Townsq will be used sparingly to send appropriate community announcements approved by the Board.
